WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
- Design and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align data governance practices with business objectives.
- Develop and execute processes for data quality monitoring and improvement.
- Identify and resolve data inconsistencies, errors, and gaps.
- Establish metrics and KPIs to measure data quality and governance effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies related to data usage and protection.
- Partner with IT and legal teams to address data privacy and security concerns.
- Serve as a liaison between business units, IT, and analytics teams to align data governance with organizational needs.
- Conduct training and workshops to educate teams on data governance principles.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for data governance and quality processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices in data management.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- 3+ years of experience in data governance, data quality management, or related roles.
- Proven track record of implementing data governance frameworks, policies, and tools to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to monitor, interpret, and improve data quality metrics while providing actionable insights.
- Experience with data management tools (e.g., data catalogs, data lineage platforms) and reporting software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards for data privacy and security (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills to influence and align stakeholders, paired with impactful storytelling using data.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills, balancing attention to detail with strategic vision.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
- Experience on consumer goods strongly preferred.

- 401(k) plan that offers opportunity to save on pre- and post-tax basis up to 50 percent of eligible compensation.
