WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

Manage and co-ordinates activities to:

  • Control and ensure delivery of accurate financial information (Budgets, Forecasts and Actual results), in line with group accounting principles.
  • Utilise key insights to identify and assess strategic proposals and to directly informed business decisions.
  • Own and manage all aspects of local financial environment, including cost centre control.
  • Review and sign off statutory accounts & reports. Ensure the statutory accounts preparation and completion process in line with governance and reporting calendar. Manage any issues that exist, or escalate as appropriate, for the external reporting of information.
  • Develop and drive efficiency improvements, based on best practice and in line with group standardisation.
  • Sign off all aspects of risk framework and control environment, leading cross functional teams dealing with control navigator initiatives and risk
  • Cash flow forecasting
  • Ensure entity / functional compliance with local laws and regulations (including tax, minority interests, external regulatory reporting)
  • Provide strategic commercial support to the business
  • Support the Head of Finance with all ad-hoc requirements, including but not limited to strategy, internal financial communication and delivery against key priorities
  • Manage all aspects related to external/internal audit within the job holders responsibility

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • 5+ years of experience in a global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment.
  • Proven track record of success.
  • Degree educated with professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA/MBA).
  • Strong interpersonal skills: self-motivated, desire for self-development and ability to influence.
  • Insightful, comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty, pro-active, collaborative and willing to implement new processes / ways of working.
  • Experience in strategic analysis & planning and execution, performance metrics, project evaluation and commercial acumen.
  • Ability to simplify complex situations and synthesize and present complex information.

  • Knowledge of SAP/HFM/BI/BPC/S4Hana an advantage.
