British American Tobacco POLAND has an exciting opportunity for a PURCHASING EXECUTIVEin WARSAW
What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?
- Execute activities to support the delivery of Cash, Cost, Service, and SNO KPIs for the assigned DRBU
- As SNO SPOC working with factory & suppliers to help achieve Area, DRBU & Region’s targets
- Actively adopt and implement digital transformation initiatives (Integrated Planning Transformation, Hive, Clear Metal, PBI, and other online tools) for the assigned factory/end market
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Executing the firm orders within lead-time for suppliers whilst maintaining target inventory levels and optimal supplier price.
- Monitoring, actioning and resolving suppliers’ exceptions
- Collaborating with the master planner (or SNP) and suppliers on purchase orders within lead-time.
- Responsible for materials inventory performance for assigned DRBU factories / material groups as per agreed targets
- Monitoring and actioning inventory at risk of obsolesce and drive improvements to drive the reduction of working capital and write offs through active engagement with stakeholders (e.g. NPI, SNP, Market SC, Factory)
- Responsible for control to deliver effective phase in and out of materials minimising write off and achieving NPI agreed timings.
- Owner of the Daily Direction setting and Daily Management systems for Materials availability and efficiency for a lead factory in the DRBU
- Responsible for the purchasing, sourcing and transactional master data
What are we looking for?
- 2-5 years across Planning, Procurement, NPI
- Good interpersonal and influencing and negotiation skills
- Good analytical and digital skills
- Good Supply Chain and materials purchasing knowledge (process, metrics)
- Proven evidence in Supplier Collaboration Management
- Strong knowledge in IWS, CI tools, and agile concept
- University degree (Supply Chain related major could be an advantage)
