British American Tobacco United Kingdom has an exciting opportunity for a Data Quality & Insight Executivein Southampton
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Execute ODM’s DQ and business rule cycle, reporting, governance, processes, tools and requirements.
- Drive to the identification of new opportunities for continuous improvement of ODM processes through data insights, analysis and reporting.
- Collaborate and align with other ODM functions, Global Operations and the wider Master Data communities and stakeholders to ensure the DQ & Insights solution aligns with all other relevant functions/ solutions.
- Investigate future technologies to further improve the DQ, continuous improvements and insights capabilities as they become available and allowable.
- Manage use of Fabric, Alteryx, Power Automate & Power BI to produce Insights and DQ&I models and analytics through data gathering, blending & analysis.
- Solution development using the appropriate tools and software.
What are we looking for?
Experience Required
- Experience of working with Master Data in an operational environment and have a clear understanding on the governing principles and the challenges that can arise in data management & the criticality of tightly controlled data management and DQ.
- Able to deconstruct complex data issues and convey their story in a business relevant format to senior business stakeholders and forums to meet all levels of data literacy.
- Proven influencing skills across all levels within the business.
- Rational, logical process-driven thinking and decision making.
- Able to prioritize and deliver to multiple workstreams.
Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required
- Highly IT, Supply Chain and SAP systems literate.
- Expert level skillset in Alteryx, Power BI and Excel.
- Competent in SQL and DAX.
- Highly numerate/analytical. Proven experience of statistical and data modelling.
- Fluent English with strong communication skills (verbal & written).
