LOCATION: Malang, Indonesia
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE:
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical issues on production lines and auxiliary equipment.
- Assist in the installation of new machinery and electrical components following safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of electrical repairs, maintenance activities, and inspections.
- Adhere to all electrical codes, regulations, and company safety protocols.
- Use testing devices to identify and rectify electrical malfunctions.
- Work closely with other maintenance team members and departments to minimize production downtime.
- Monitor and report on electrical supplies and tools to ensure timely restocking.
- When there is no maintenance to perform, provide support to the production team as required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND ESSENTIAL ATTRIBUTES:
- Minimum 5 years of experience working as an electrician in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in electrical work preferred.
- Understanding of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Capacity to lift heavy equipment, stand for extended periods, and work in confined spaces or at heights.
- Familiarity with standard electrical tools, meters, and testing devices.
- Knowledge of workplace safety practices and electrical safety regulations.
- Ability to identify and solve technical issues efficiently.
- Strong verbal communication skills to coordinate with supervisors and team members.
- Willingness to work shifts, including weekends or overtime, as needed.
- Must be available to work in a 3-shift schedule:
- Morning shift: Starts at 5:30 AM
- Afternoon shift: Starts at 2:00 PM
- Night shift: Starts at 10:00 PM
