JOB TITLE: Junior Scheduling Manager

ROLE SUMMARY

What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?  

Coordinates the daily work of Scheduling and the Factory Administration Teams

Collate all known information to be able to create a schedule which maximizes operational efficiency for MO, LCO, OTP, SMD, PMD and FMD departments.

Using this information create & communicate detailed production schedules, based upon the availability of materials / crews / machinery, to each factory production area, which fulfil weekly production plans received from the SNO.

Establish and maintain the factory production capacities for a 24-month horizon on a timely basis and make them visible to SNO.

Ensures that Make Department is supported by administrative tasks regarding information and documentation required for the Line Structure.

Ensures that business processes and functionalities of SAP are maintained through the application lifecycle and in line with business requirements within his / her responsibility area. SAP contains valid and relevant data.

To sponsor/chair several projects, work streams and local committees, at local and cluster level.

To champion the one business unit, ways of working and to provide leadership to the team and support the above-factory collaborative processes.

Regularly holds meetings with team members to communicate monthly results, company news & changes, projects and discuss action plans for the next month

Identification and coaching of people with potential to grow. Ensures all members of the teams has development plans & regular performance discussions.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Responsible in conjunction with Factory Management team to determine the factory future installed/available capacity on all new installation/changes planned for on each production area.
  • Ensure Planning System is updated with capacity data for planning by SNO of SAP data integrity, used to define Work Centres capacities and capabilities.
  • The weekly production plan received from the SNO is checked & converted into a workable production schedule, for MO or OTP or LCO or SMD/PMD considering local constraints.
  • The KPIs related to production schedule execution (i.e. Conformance to Schedule (C2S), OEE etc.) are controlled, monitored, and communicated.
  • Work with Production Departments and SNO to improve the planning and scheduling execution to increase plan and schedule conformance.
  • Responsible for checking materials/leaf availability to cover next weeks production plan received.
  • Responsible for management of UNIQUE PACK IDs according to production plan based on each end market legal requirements: ordering, reconciliation, and usage.
  • Manages the Administration Team activities, which runs in 3 shifts, parallel with Manufacturing work pattern (Administration Team activities include Make and Logistics support)

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE

ESSENTIAL

Experience Required

  • High level interpersonal skills.
  • Experience of working in a Manufacturing or Supply Chain environment
  • Knowledge of planning activities: production / demand/ supply

Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required

  • Analytical skills and proven leadership capabilities
  • Understanding of advanced planning and scheduling systems (i.e. SAP)
  • Computer literacy: Excel, Power Point, Word (MS Office

Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required

  • University degree (technical or economical) preferable
  • Computer literacy: Excel, Power Point, Word (MS Office)
  • Good written and verbal English and Hungarian
