KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE:
- Efficiently schedule and control shift operations to meet daily and monthly production targets.
- Ensure machine reliability to achieve the Master Production Schedule and support IWS philosophy.
- Ensure the manufacturing of high-quality products by meeting or exceeding quality targets.
- Coordinate and support maintenance activities to ensure smooth machine operation and provide full support to maintenance teams for timely completion of maintenance tasks.
- Effectively deploy the workforce as per the agreed crewing pattern on machines to achieve desired output.
- Drive breakthrough results in Process Reliability, Planned, and Unplanned Downtime while delivering against the Master Production Schedule.
- Coach and develop Technician Teams. Support personnel systems to grow the capability of Technician Teams and ensure a cohesive, responsive, and flexible organization.
- Lead the Shift Team through the IWS Phase Journey. Support development and lead portions of loss elimination plans using IWS tools.
QUALIFICATIONS AND ESSENTIAL ATTRIBUTES:
- University diploma/degree in Engineering courses with 2-3 years of experience in Operations Management/Engineering related.
- Must possess leadership abilities, initiative, drive, and effective interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good knowledge of Quality systems, ISO 9001/14001, and SPC.
- Strong decision-making, resource management, and conflict management skills.
- Familiarity with SAP and technical knowledge related to machine operations.
- Ensure compliance with BAT EH&S standards and maintain high standards of housekeeping and hygiene.
- Carry out employee appraisals and training needs analysis to develop their skills and maintain motivation.
