British American Tobacco Pakistan has an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Finance Manager in Lahore
To provide timely proactive financial evaluation, information, and advice that enables Marketing/Trade teams and management to develop and complete effective plans and make informed decisions. To help build strong financial and commercial awareness within the Marketing/Trade function including an effective internal control environment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Lead the monthly SOP process and handle budgets, plans, and forecasts, ensuring accountability and timely performance monitoring.
- Oversee month-end closing activities, including sales rebate reconciliation and general ledger analysis, to provide actionable insights.
- Conduct financial evaluations of Marketing programs, touchpoints, and product/brand profitability to drive informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with Marketing Leadership on budgeting, financial controls, and strategic planning to ensure profit delivery and resource optimization.
- Chip in to pricing strategy development using simulations, elasticity analysis, and competitive assessments.
- Build financial business cases, perform scenario analyses, and conduct post-implementation reviews for key projects.
- Ensure the accuracy of financial accounts in line with International Accounting Standards and maintain strong internal controls.
- Enhance financial awareness and commercial capabilities across the Marketing teams through education and strategic support.
What are we looking for?
- 5+ years of experience in a global, dynamic, or FMCG environment with matrix structures and multiple stakeholders.
- Proven skills in strategic analysis, data analytics, business modeling, and project planning.
- Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to synthesize and communicate complex information effectively.
- Familiarity with SAP, excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills, and attention to detail in financial evaluations.
- Proactive, resilient, adaptable to change, and continuously driven to improve execution.
