BAT’s Digital Business Solution has an exciting opportunity for a Reporting Automation Developer in Subang Jaya, Malaysia.
The Reporting Automation Developer role is operationally responsible for the execution of the Reporting Automation plan, as an integrated part of Performance Management department, supporting GBS Service Lines, Group Central Functions and End-markets, by building Analytics Process Automation (APA) solutions (via Alteryx) and performing maintenance & enhancements on already developed APA apps.
The role is based in BAT’s global Performance Management function, where you will be surrounded by specialists with a rich background in championing data-driven business process improvement in Finance, HR and Marketing.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Reports to: Reporting Automation Senior Developer
Core Relationships: Internal - effective working relationship with GBS and commercial units, depending on project
Geographic Scope: Global – Based in Romania
GOM Processes scope: All (Marketing, Operations, Finance, HR, Corporate)
- Develop sustainable, efficient, and impactful automations, by pairing business challenges with process data opportunity in an evolving business environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, recommend improvements, and design solutions which drive business value and operational excellence.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in the Analytics Process Automation space and recommend/ develop relevant technologies.
What are we looking for?
- Experience with data crunching, automation, and process metrics reporting.
- 2-4 years’ experience in a global FMCG company or in a similar dynamic environment.
- Ability to work in project-based scenarios.
- Algorithmic thinking, detail oriented, with the ability to draw insights from complex datasets and apply solutions to business problems.
- Self-starting, independent and collaborative
- Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional global teams.
- Strong communication and effective stakeholders’ engagement.
- Proficient Excel User
- Experience Analytic Process Automation tools.
Beneficial
- Experience with Alteryx/ Power Apps/ Power BI or equivalent analytics & automation tools
- Alteryx Designer Certification
- Experience within SSC/ GBS organisations
