British American Tobacco Trading Romania has exciting opportunity for a Communities Manager, in Bucharest.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Develop, deliver and implement the annual marketing plan for the Communities Channel, in line with the annual marketing and distribution plan of the brands strategy and BAT.
- Develop tailor made concepts of events, activities and marketing programs, creating unique offline experiences via appealing amplification through social media.
- Provide the relevant criteria for classification and identification of the events, gatherings, places in the market in accordance with the consumer profile and brand objectives.
- Manage and control the channel budget in an efficient way to ensure an effective development and implementation of the strategy & plans in line with overall objectives.
- Actively support the planning process of the channel activities, ensuring the coordination of the department and allocated budgets. To evaluate channel activities based on the reports from the team, to formulate evaluations and learnings, and implicitly to present proposals for potential improvement.
- Continuously inform the line manager and the Activation team about market developments and trends, as well as about the activities of the competition in order to identify opportunities and suitable reactions.
- Amplifies the channel activities via own- or third-party social media channels, ensuring the alignment and coherence with the social media strategy and look & feel of the BAT brands. Also manages internal and external stakeholders needed to reach digital objectives in designated campaigns (strategic partners, brand partners, events, festivals, co-creation authors or talents);
- Manages creative agencies and suppliers to deliver on time in full the channel activities and their deployment according to the plan and the yearly objectives.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Min. 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing and / or events channel.
- Very communicative person, strong ability to influence, proactive and with the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced changing environment.
- A digital native with a good understanding of digital marketing and multiple social platforms.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, fluency in Romanian and English (both oral and written).
- Strong creative and analytical skills.
- Computer proficiency (PowerPoint, Excel).
- Flexible and collaborative, team-first, proactive attitude. Networking and relationship building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple activities, teams and work independently.
- Good presentation skills.
- Driving license B category.
