TITLE: LOGISTICS MANAGER

ROLE SUMMARY

Logistics manager is responsible for ensuring the right products are delivered to the right location on time and at a good cost via efficient management of warehousing, stock control, transportation and monitoring the flow of good, as well as for development and management of the staff .

Jobholder plans, executes and controls the storage and delivery of finished goods for domestic market in order to guarantee product availability at distribution centres according to Stock Policy and, at the optimal total cost

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

BUSINESS

  • Planning, control and store of delivery and distribution of Finished Goods by managing the best combination of transportation and Stock Levels at FG Warehouse and Customer Warehouse
  • Control, follow up and approval of all required documentation related to the process of Finished Good Distribution
  • Planning and control operations at the Finished Goods Warehouse in regards with product receipt from the factory.
  • Distribution in order to guarantee Product Integrity and Traceability
  • Implement and follow up procedures in order to comply with BAT EH&S standards along the whole logistics operating in order to provide our employees with a safe environment.
  • Drive all activities needed to deliver KPIs, Service Level & Stock holding targets
  • ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

ESSENTIAL

Experience Required

  • 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain and Logistics Management.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in management position.

Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required

  • Good knowledge of EHS standards, warehousing standards.
  • Ability to understand & apply costing & budgetary principles
  • Strong leadership, communication, and planning skills with ability to influence large teams
  • Well-developed project management and coordination capabilities
  • Strong stakeholders’ management and engagement capabilities
  • Strong presentation skills

Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required

  • University degree preferably in Logistics management
  • Excellent written & verbal communication in English, French and Arabic is a must
  • Good level of MS Office Applications is a must and SAP knowledge would be an asset
